We are regularly commissioned by Universities and Colleges, who want to develop and refurbish teaching spaces. Our recent work includes producing innovative, custom-made systems for University College London, Bristol University, Birmingham University, Cardiff University and Heriot-Watt University. In each instance our team surveyed the site and walked the customer through potential options. Once an option was selected we worked closely with the planning team, AV integration team and end-users to develop and install a high-quality platform to deliver outstanding lectures and seminars.

Single Column Board System
Developed for use in smaller presentation spaces such as classrooms and seminar rooms, this system allows a writing surface to be integrated within a ‘blended learning’ environment, where visible space is at a premium. By using a column mounted whiteboard, additional equipment, such as projection screens, flat screen monitor, interactive whiteboard or additional writing surfaces, can be seamlessly integrated within the same area.

Multiple Systems
The featured image demonstrates TeacherBoards ability to provide innovative and integrated teaching solutions to clients detailed specifications. We supplied a custom made system to the University of St Andrews during the refurbishment of lecture theatres in the Mathematics and Chemistry departments. Working closely with the University and architects, we provided a practical solution to a brief that required increased writing capacity whilst allowing multiple projected images. Our solution identified an innovative way that we could utilise all the available teaching space through building a flexible system that combined:
- Triple Column Board Systems – providing a massive 40.5m of available writing area
- Large format projection surfaces, mounted on the wall behind the column board systems, allow multiple image projection whilst still having unobstructed writing surface available
